Tour de Casa

We gave Grayson a bike for his second birthday knowing it was a bit premature going straight to training wheels and skipping the tricycle phase altogether. He loves donning his shoes and helmet (house rules for even being able to sit on the bike), even though he couldn't manage to get very far, that is until recently.

Something has clicked in his coordination (or maybe his daddy's cycling skills are coming out in his DNA), but our hallway which used to be more than enough room to tire out Gray's cycling abilities is now proving to be too short of a track.

Unfortunately, we're expected to get some ice and snow tonight so going outside isn't really an option at the moment.

Despite having to navigate a few corners and turns, I'm surprised at how well he can steer. The only distraction seems to be when he drives by our oven and tries to catch a glimpse of himself in the oven door reflection.

Here are a couple of videos of his new skills:

I can't believe it. Just 3 weeks ago we were there and he couldn't quite get the pedals to move. Or MAYBE he knew his Pappa would push him "on demand"! He is very advanced you know! You GO, Grayson. What a BIG BOY!
